Lal Tibba : It is a scenic 5 km uphill walk from Picture Palace to the highest point in Mussoorie. It passes through Landour Bazaar.
Kempty Falls : It is about 15 km from Mussoorie. It has been a favorite tourist spot and picnic sport.

Happy Valley : It is located at a couple kilometers from the Library end of the Mall Road. It is a 5,000 well-built Tibetan settlement. This is a beautiful spot for a short hike. One can arrive here by Taxis and Bicycle rickshaws.
Dhanaulti : It is located at about 28 kms from Mussoorie. It is a picturesque spot and quiet forest area converted into two Eco parks by the government.
Gun Hill : Relish an aerial tramway ride to the second highest peak of Mussoorie. It can also be carried off by curbs track which forks-off from the Mall Road near Kutchery and to reach consumes about 20 minutes. The aerial tramway distance is only 400 mtrs. And the pure excitement of the ride is unforgettable. Gun Hill provides a graceful bird's-eye sight of the Himalayan ranges namely Bunderpunch, Srikantha, Pithwara and Gangotri group etc and a panoramic view of Mussoorie town and Doon Valley. During pre-independence days a gun affixed on this top practiced to be fired acclaiming mid-day to enable people to adjust their watches and therefore this name.
