Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, Sibtain Holidays representative will greet and assist you transfer to the hotel for India Tours. In the afternoon you will be taken to National Museum where you will see the finest collection of Indian antiquities and artifacts. Tonight you will be hosted a welcome dinner when you will also be familiarized with the tour. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Delhi
Delhi with its Old and New parts - each with its specific charm and glory - makes a very interesting city for its sustenance to medieval and modern cultures at the same time and space. Today, you will explore the capital of India in a full-day tour - including buildings of early Turkish structure to Mughal buildings to Lutyen's Delhi. Prime attractions of Delhi are Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Old Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, President House, Parliament House, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, ISKON Temple, Birla Temple, Raj Ghat, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Khajuraho (By Flight)
After an early morning breakfast you will be transferred to the Airport to take flight to Khajuraho – The City of Temples of Love. Upon arrival in Khajuraho, Sibtain Holidays representative will assist you to transfer to the  hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Later proceed to sightseeing tour of Khajuraho exploring temples complex which are globally known for their masterpiece architectures and erotic sculptures on the walls. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Khajuraho – Agra
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel you will be drive to Jhansi Railway Station for your train to Agra – the City of India’s star attraction – Taj Mahal. En route you will visit medieval town of Orchha. Upon arrival in Agra, Sibtain Holidays representative will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Spend evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Agra
Enjoy hearty breakfast at hotel and later embark on full day sightseeing tour of Agra City that covers Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itimad-Ud-Daulah. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Taj Mahal: Taj Mahal is considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built in white marble this mausoleum was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal after her death.
Agra Fort: It was built by great Mughal Emperor – Akbar. It is designated as the World Heritage by UNESCO. It is built in red sand stone and also known as the Red Fort of Agra.
Itimad-Ud-Daulah: This Mughal mausoleum was built by Nur Jahan dedicated to her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. It is often described as the ‘jewel box', sometimes called the Baby Taj. Its interior is much more beautiful than that of Taj Mahal. Hence it is regarded as the "draft" of the Taj Mahal.
Day 06: Agra – Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast drive to Jaipur on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. After arrival in Jaipur our representative will let you to the Hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur Sightseeing
In the morning, have healthy breakfast and visit the Amber Fort - unique artistic one of the most fascinating of Indian forts. You will reach the fort majestically atop on an elephant; once inside the fort, you visit amazingly beautiful the Palace of Mirrors, Hall of Public Audience and the beautifully manicured gardens. Afternoon you will spend exploring the Jantar Mantar (astrological observatory), the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), the City Palace and the museum. In the evening enjoy shopping in the colorful bazaars of the city laden with exquisite handicrafts. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 08: Jaipur – Jodhpur
After hearty breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, Sibtain Holidays representative will let you to the Hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. In the evening don’t miss to see the stunning sunset over the blue houses of the city from massive Mehrangarh Fort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Jodhpur Sightseeing
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later embark on full day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur City. Explore the  majestic Mehrangarh Fort visiting its beautiful architectures and exquisite palaces. Also visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and explore its museum. Also visit the Jaswant Thada – the royal cenotaph which shows the antiquities and memories of unforgettable past. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Mount Abu – Udaipur
After hearty breakfast at the hotel drive to Udaipur – the City of Lakes and regarded as one of the most romantic cities of the world. You will have wonderful opportunity to see famous ancient Jain Temples en route. Later proceed to massive Kumbhalgarh Fort. If Ranakpur is beauty and grace, Kumbhalgarh is all about power. You will arrive in Udaipur late in the afternoon. The rest of the day will be at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Udaipur Sightseeing
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing tours of Udaipur. Visit the elegant City Palace – Rajasthan’s Largest Palace Complex. Also visit the Jagdish Temple, the Saheliyon-ki-Bari and the Fateh Prakash Palace. In the evening enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the picturesque Pichola Lake. From the lake you will get unmatched views of the gardens surrounding the fascinating Lake Palace and the two islands in the lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Udaipur - Aurangabad (By Flight)
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel. In time you will be transferred to the airport to board flight for Mumbai – the commercial capital of India where you will arrival to connect to your flight for Aurangabad (Depending on the flight timings you will be given a brief tour of the commercial capital of India). You will arrive in Aurangabad late in the evening. Upon arrival in Aurangabad, Sibtain Holidays representative will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Aurangabad
Enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to sightseeing. Explore the caves of Ajanta which offer a rich tapestry of images that speak of palaces, royalty, cultures and tales of everyday life of ancient India. Long buried in the debris of time, these 30 caves were built to offer seclusion to the Buddhist monks, who lived, taught and performed rituals. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel at Aurangabad.
 Day 14: Aurangabad – Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel this morning takes you to the Ellora Caves. Explore the beautiful carved Ellora caves, the rock temples and monasteries representing the three major faiths of India – Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Like Ajanta Aves, Ellora Caves too are fine example of cave temples with almost 34 caves with intricate interiors and ornamental facades. Later in the evening you will take your flight for Bombay where you spend the night before starting your tour of South India. Dinner will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Mumbai – Madurai
Enjoy very hearty breakfast at the hotel, then fly for Madurai were you arrival before noon. Upon arrival in Madurai, our representative would assist to transfer you to the hotel. Later visit the world famous Meenakshi Temple in the heart of the old town. A riotously baroque example of Dravidian architecture, you visit the temple in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 16: Madurai – Chettinad – Madurai
After a relaxed breakfast, drive to Chettinad which is known for its artistic houses. Spend the afternoon exploring the palace and around for its unique architecture. Overnight will be at Madurai.
Day 17: Madurai – Tanjore – Trichy
After heart breakfast, drive to Tanjore – the City of Temples. Tanjore is dotted with no fewer than 74 temples – the most famous of which is the Brihadeshwara temple. You visit this fascinating temple and the Thanjavur Palace before continuing your drive to Trichy. The town of Trichy is another small place of South India which is littered with innumerable evidence of the region's excellence in art and architecture. In the evening you explore the city including spectacular Rock Fort Temple. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Trichy.
Day 18: Trichy – Chennai
After hearty breakfast at the hotel take a train to Chennai – the Capital City of Tamil Nadu. Chennai is a fascinating city with its ancient temples and unique culture, golden sandy beaches and a marvelous tradition of music and dance. You explore this lovely city in the afternoon, immediately after arriving at the station. After the short city tour you will check into your hotel which is a beach hotel outside Chennai city. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 19: Chennai
Excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram
Today will be spent in visiting two of the finest examples of ancient South Indian architecture - Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 20: Chennai – Departure
Enjoy leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Finish you last minute shopping in Chennai. In the evening you will be hosted a farewell dinner before being escorted to the domestic terminal for flight to Delhi for return to your home/onward destination. |
